Discovery of rivers in Antarctic forces rethink of drilling plans

A network of moving water channels appears to connect subsurface lakes in Antarctica, raising the possibility that drilling into one lake for ice core samples could contaminate the whole system. This also has implications for sampling techniques on other planets and moons.
